O Come, O Come Emmanuel...what an anthem for this year.  We need the Lord so desperately this year and yearn for His return.  He became one of us, with humble beginnings as a tiny baby in a manger.  He walked among us, was tempted as we are, and became relatable so that we would see Him in humanity and accept His free gift of salvation to spend eternity with Him.  Our humanity is currently very real and desperately challenging.  Listen to One Accord call for the arrival of Emmanuel, "God With Us," and ponder the moment He came into the world the very first time as a helpless baby.  Also, enjoy the glorias toward the end of the piece that reminisce of what the shepherds must have heard as the angels rejoiced at His birth.  "God Most High in a manger laid, Lift your voices and now proclaim, Great and glorious, Love has come to us, Join now with the hosts of heaven."
